A very informative weekend

Today the Sun moving through dutiful and hard working Virgo runs square to Jupiter in chatty Gemini, suggesting some encounters with people or information which might throw us off course for a little while. We might find this frustrating or stimulating depending on what it is we are trying to do – it’s not very conducive for dealing with details, but is great for getting lots of information, research and so on.

Mercury is moving in close to the Sun, and Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo so is in charge of this square making things even more chatty or information filled than usual. The tension of the square can make some of this information a bit too much, it might overwhelm or irritate but inside it will be some real gems if you can spot them.

The closer Mercury moves to the Sun the closer we come to tying up the loose ends on any issues that came unravelled during the Mercury retrograde back at the end of July and beginning of August, especially around the 28th July – we had the opportunity of a sparkly weekend then, and this weekend brings the same opportunity as they move towards the superior conjunction on Monday:

Before we get that superior conjunction, Mercury will follow the Sun in making a square to Jupiter – yet more news, information, talk, meetings, short trips and general busy-ness lighting up the weekend. As with the Sun, this is again a tense aspect and might make people impatient, not wanting to listen – or more interested in listening to themselves than anything else.

There will be lots of busy bees buzzing and social butterflies fluttering this weekend

Add into this little pot of things going on the point that Jupiter is moving in on minor planet Chaos then all manner of interesting things might come to light – expect the unexpected, be prepared for anything to happen and look for the hidden delights and insights in all this stuff  that is happening and that you are hearing at the moment. Try not to get drawn into arguments (there will be plenty to get drawn into), don’t believe everything you read or hear, or at least double check it first and be determined to have some nice surprises come your way.
